Dakota

Dakota Dziego-Nixon

Physiotherapist

Dakota graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has extensive experience treating a broad range of musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic conditions across both private practice and NHS settings.

With a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Dakota has a particular interest in lower-limb injuries, sports injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation, as well as upper-limb conditions, spinal care, and post-operative recovery. His semi-professional football background gives him valuable insight into the physical and psychological demands of sport and the process of returning to performance.

Dakota takes a hands-on, exercise-focused approach to treatment, using techniques such as soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation, taping and dry needling alongside tailored rehabilitation programmes. He aims to make treatment practical and individualised, helping patients understand their condition and feel confident in managing their recovery.

Outside the clinic, Dakota enjoys playing social sports, staying active, and travelling with his wife.

An Interesting Fact No One Would Know About Me
Dakota used to have really long hair and wear it in a bun although you couldn’t tell by looking at him now!
