Ruth Levitan

Osteopath

Ruth is a Registered Osteopath, with more than 20 years experience. She graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1999. Since then, she has built a career that combines both clinical practice and teaching. While Ruth treats patients of all ages, she has developed a particular interest in cranial osteopathy and an expertise in caring for expectant mothers, new mothers, babies and children.

Her commitment to paediatric care began immediately after graduation, when she volunteered at The Osteopathic Centre for Children in London. Subsequently, in 2009, she completed a two-year Master’s degree in Paediatric Osteopathy.

Over the years, Ruth has worked in general practice as well as in academic settings. She served as a clinic tutor in both London and Sydney and later tutored for the Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics at the University College of Osteopathy. She also ran the First Place children’s clinic in Southwark, a charity run in conjunction with the university college of Osteopathy. More recently, she has completed specialist training in infant feeding and support.
