Clinical Strength and Conditioning in Balham

Clinical Strength and Conditioning is a one-on-one personalised training session led by Tanya Chumak, a highly experienced physiotherapist with a unique background as a former professional ballerina.
Whether you’re returning to exercise, building strength, or working toward a specific goal, our trainer will create programmes that are safe, motivating, and fully tailored to you. With expert guidance and support, you’ll train smarter, stay accountable, and progress with confidence
Tanya designs individualised programs to help clients achieve their strength and fitness goals safely and effectively. She leverages her in-depth understanding of movement, discipline, and injury prevention with her expertise in weightlifting, running, and CrossFit.

What to Expect

Each session will look different for everyone – but it will include a mix of strength training, cardio, mobility, and/or functional exercises depending on your individual needs and goals.
You will receive a programme tailored to your fitness level, goals, and abilities, along with expert coaching to improve movement mechanics, strength, and injury prevention.

Treatment Formats

Private One-to-One Sessions

We offer private one-to-one sessions with Tanya Chumak, providing you with dedicated time to focus on your individual strength and conditioning goals.

Your journey begins with an initial session designed to understand how you move and what you want to achieve. This includes a discussion around your current abilities, any limitations, and your objectives. Tanya will then create a personalised programme tailored to your fitness level and goals.

We also offer a weekly Clinical Strength and Conditioning class, designed for those who enjoy the energy and motivation of training in a small group environment. These sessions are ideal for individuals looking to improve physical function, enhance performance, or support ongoing rehabilitation in a supportive, clinically supervised setting.

The group class meets every Tuesday afternoon and follows evidence-based exercise principles tailored to a range of fitness levels and clinical needs.
