Our Pilates and yoga courses allow everyone in the group to learn and progress together - developing skills and building on your knowledge as you progress.
Beginners Pilates
Designed with complete beginners in mind, this six week course will provide you with an understanding and solid foundation in pilates.
The courses are limited to 10 students allowing for plenty of individual attention and adjustment to ensure correct alignment.
Including how to identify and recruit core muscles along with pilates breathing techniques, you will learn basic exercises enabling you to begin your own self practice and giving you the confidence to join drop in classes.
Beginners Yoga
A small, friendly six week course specifically designed for beginners with no or very little experience of Yoga.
This 6 week course will introduce the fundamentals of alignment and posture and to asanas (poses) for beginners. In addition, an introduction to pranayama (breathing), meditation and relaxation will be taught.
By the end of the course you’ll feel confident enough to attend any of our scheduled yoga classes or to extend your practice with our follow-on course.
Pilates Follow On Course
This is a 6 week follow on course for those who have completed one of our Pilates beginners courses.
The course will carry on where the previous one left off and deepen the knowledge already gained.
Our beginners and follow on courses aim to provide a strong foundation in the basics of Pilates, enabling you to maintain a successful home practice and feel confident about joining our foundations or open level drop in classes.
Yoga Follow On Course
A course for those who have completed our 6 week beginners course and who are looking to deepen and strengthen their knowledge.
This course will follow on directly from the beginners and will be tailored to progress your practice in a more structured way than attending drop in classes.
