You can book your Physio appointment online below, we have Physio appointments available 6 days a week from early morning to late evening. If you are claiming Physio treatment through BUPA or AXA PPP please give us a call or visit us in the clinic to book this in. We are located a few minutes in between Balham and Tooting tube stations.

- Mobilisation and manipulation of soft tissues and joints

Prior to any treatment, your Physiotherapist will perform a full assessment and explain what each treatment involves and make sure you are happy to proceed.
What happens during a Physiotherapist appointment?
Your first appointment with your Physio will be an assessment. Your Physio will take a full medical history and ask questions about your injury and what your goals are. Following this, your Physio will perform a series of tests and ask you to move in certain ways, this helps to for their diagnosis. After this, your Physio will give you the appropriate treatment and exercises. The appointment will end with a discussion with your Physio to outline the your treatment plan and home exercise program.
Your Physio will advise a timeframe for booking your next appointments, which will continue your treatment to progress your rehabilitation.

How can I prevent reinjury?
To prevent a recurrence of injury, or further damage, changes in lifestyle may be suggested by your Physio as well as an ongoing home exercise programme prescribed by your Physio or referral into Pilates classes. Each case is different and you should ask your physio for advice on preventing future problems.

Can I use my Private Medical insurance for Physio?
Our Physiotherapists are recognised by BUPA and AXA PPP, we directly invoice these companies for your treatment if they have given you authorisation for treatment. Prior to booking a Physio appointment, please contact your insurer directly to obtain authorisation and they will provide you with a code. Please let reception know this code at the time of booking.
Other insurance companies may also cover your treatment with us. To use your insurance with any insurer other than BUPA and AXA PPP, you will need to pay in the clinic and make a claim to your insurance provider to cover the cost / part of the cost. You will need to check with your insurer that you are covered for treatment at Recentre Health and / or with your specific practitioner before you start your treatment. We do not have access to your policy information so it is important that you confirm cover with your insurer.

Do your Physiotherapists offer Home Visits?
A physiotherapist may be able to visit you at home in the South West London area if you are unable to travel. We can offer Physio Home Visits to clients living within the Balham and Tooting area, within 15 minutes of our clinic. Please enquire with reception for more details and pricing.
Do you offer concessions for Physio?
You may qualify for a discount for Physio treatment at our Community Clinics during off-peak times with selected therapists (subject to availability) if you:
- Are age 70 or over
- Are a full time students
- Are NHS staff
- Hold a valid medical exemption certificate
- Hold a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate, HC2 or HC3
- Receive income support, job seeker’s allowance, income related employment and support allowance, pension credit guarantee credit or universal credit
