Our Sports Physiotherapists have many years’ experience in helping keep athletes of all levels injury free and in the best shape possible for any event.
We specialise in prevention, recognition, management and rehabilitation of injuries that result from physical activity. If you’re out of action with an injury, we can get you on the mend and back in the game quicker.
We know injuries not only have a negative impact on your performance but they may also cause you discomfort or pain. The good news is that proper treatment of an injury will facilitate a rapid recovery and return to your normal activities.
Sports Injury Assessment
Your first appointment will be an assessment where your Sports physiotherapist will assess and diagnose your injury, perform appropriate treatment to decrease your pain and facilitate your healing and create a home rehabilitation plan based on your goals.
Sports Injury Rehabilitation
Your following appointments will continue to monitor your progress, altering your treatment and rehabilitation plan according to how your injury is healing.
We have an extensive range of equipment in our rehab clinic to provide specialist rehabilitation for many different sports and activities including:
- Squat Rack
- Weights
- Treadmill
- Pilates studio with Reformers
- Sports Equipment
In addition, whilst you are rehabilitating, your therapist may recommend that you do some specialised exercise such as Pilates or Sports Massage.

Anne originally hails from Canada but she lived the bay side dream in Australia for five years before moving to London in 2018. She graduated as a Doctor of Physiotherapy with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2016 and relocated to London to further her adventures.
She has worked in private practice since graduating, treating a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. She was the team physiotherapist for a National Premier League soccer team as well as an Aussie-rules football team.
Anne has a special interest in treating sports and lower limb injuries, particularly the knee after having torn both ACL’s herself. She completed working a season in Japan as a snow sports physiotherapist.
Anne has a holistic approach to treatment and uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She is committed to developing rapport and trust with clients and enjoys promoting a collaborative approach to help them through their rehabilitation and achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
Anne is an avid traveler and is keen to explore all of London’s sights on her bike! She enjoys staying active by playing basketball and climbing the occasional mountain or ten.

Hannah graduated with a BSc Hons in Physiology with Sports Biomedicine before completing a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from Kings College London in 2013. She is a chartered Physiotherapist with over seven years experience working in Sports and Orthopaedic medicine in a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence. Hannah’s underlying philosophy is ‘exercise is medicine’, whilst maintaining the traditional hands on approach. Hannah works holistically to treat the body as a whole in order to resolve pain and restore movement, strength and function. This may include a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, taping, electrotherapy, education and exercise prescription.
Since having her baby in 2017, Hannah has developed a strong interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is a Mummy MOT Practitioner and is passionate about helping mums recover and achieve their goals from their 6-8 week post natal check and beyond. Having also completed her full APPI Clinical Pilates certification with equipment, Hannah frequently integrates clinical pilates to her rehabilitation programs whereby she is able to help those with musculoskeletal conditions exercise safely and effectively.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys Yoga, walking her dog and is a bit of a health and fitness fanatic! She thrives off empowering other, loves being by the sea and spending time with family and friends.
EMMA LONGLEY MCSP

Emma is a Charted Physiotherapist from the United Kingdom. She graduated in 2019 from Northumbria University.
She has worked in a busy MSK out-patient setting in an NHS for 2 & 1/2 years, treating a range of conditions including; consultant referrals, chronic pain, MSK conditions, sports injuries, etc. Although this provided her with a broad range of knowledge and skills, she is now seeking to provide higher quality care and an ability to spend more time with patients.
Emma is passionate about treating people holistically and uses a combination of exercise therapy, strength and conditioning, hands on treatment and education. Emma likes to use exercise therapy as a modality to empower others, ensuring a healthy mind and body.
Emma has a special interest in treating chronic pain presentations as she is able to recognise the biopsychosocial factors that can influence the pain experience. She aims to get to the cause of the problem rather than treating the symptoms.
Emma has recently moved to London for the career opportunities but also to enjoy the wonders of city life – exercise classes, great food & music!
KATELIN HORAN MCSP

Katelin has been the sole physiotherapist within a high school where she assessed, treated, and completed rehabilitation with paediatric clients. She has also been a part of a private orthopaedic hospital team, where she has experience with lower limb operative clients from day 1 post-op. Some of these clients were followed and treated by Katelin from day 1 to discharge one year later (particularly ACL reconstructions!).
Katelin has a holistic approach in collaboration with clients, where the best practice and research is always considered. She practices hands-on treatments like dry needling, joint mobilisations, and massage. She also has a large interest in rehabilitative exercises and general fitness.
Katelin enjoys travel, exploring new places and is excited to see and experience your part of the world! She also has a big interest in the gym (including crossfit and weightlifting), sports, hiking and running.
TANYA CHUMAK MCSP

Tanya is originally from Calgary, Canada. She is a former professional ballerina and had a fulfilling ten-year career dancing with the New York Theatre Ballet and the Alberta Ballet. During that time, she also developed a keen interest in injury and recovery and completed her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She then moved to London to pursue a master’s degree in physiotherapy and graduated from Brunel University. Tanya has experience working in private practice and treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting-related injuries.
Tanya’s previous experience as an elite-level athlete has given her a unique perspective for understanding the body’s physical and mental demands. She has personally had several acute injuries including an ACL tear and understands the rehabilitation process from a patient perspective. She enjoys treating all injuries but has a special interest in lower limb injuries, particularly knee injuries such as patellofemoral pain, ITB syndrome and post-operative ACLs. She also enjoys working with runners and utilises running analysis to help guide her treatment approach. As a former dancer, Tanya can offer a unique service to all dancers combining her expertise in dance and rehabilitation.
Tanya strongly believes in finding the root cause of an injury and the importance of returning to pre-level function stronger and with more education and knowledge. Although she no longer dances, Tanya enjoys running, weightlifting, and CrossFit. She is comfortable with all aspects of the gym and often incorporates gym technique into her treatment approach.
She believes in an individualised approach to treatment and adopts a person-centred approach for optimal results. She feels that exercise is a key component to recovery and combines this with manual therapy, education, and injury prevention to ensure long-term success.
SHAUNA TWEEDIE MCSP - on maternity leave
Shauna is South African and graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2015. She has worked in multiple settings from rural hospitals to private sports practices as well as working with wellness groups within the corporate environment.
She has treated numerous sport’s injuries as well as general injuries linked to our daily activities i.e. neck and back pain, orthopaedic rehabilitation, care of the elderly and blocked ducts/mastitis within women’s health.
Shauna’s skills include hands-on therapy using evidence-based techniques, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation tailored to each individual, as well as massage therapy. She has a keen interest in furthering her knowledge in Pilates and continuously keeping up-to-date with new research.
Shauna recently moved to London with her husband to gain international work and life experience.
She is an active, outdoor person who spends most of her time walking/ running, hiking and traveling.
Shauna has an interest in sports injuries and a passion for helping people overcome their pain and injury to reach their goals.
