How Do I Choose Which Class to Attend?
If you are new to Pilates, we recommend using our Intro Offer to complete two Private classes.
During these classes, your teachers will explain all of the fundamentals of Pilates, how to use all the equipment and go through the class based on your ability and goals. Once your have completed your private classes, you will be ready to join any of our group classes in the Balham studio. If you are familiar with Pilates and have practiced before, you can read our class types above to find the perfect class for you.

I’m New to Pilates, Where Should I Start?
If you have never done Pilates before, or have taken a long break since your last sessions, and would like to join a class but are unsure about where to start, you might like to consider a Private Pilates session or one of our regular Pilates beginners’ courses.
All classes and courses are held at 260 Balham High Road in our clinic and studio.
Are Teachers Well Qualified?
We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of teaching and classes. All of our Pilates teachers are qualified through well respected schools of Pilates such as APPI, BASI, Body Control Pilates and The Pilates Foundation and have a huge amount of experience.
What’s the Relationship Between Pilates and Physiotherapy?
Pilates has become a valuable asset in Physiotherapy treatment and is a technique that greatly enhances rehabilitation, core strength and well-being. Pilates builds strength without building excess bulk in the muscles – it is capable of creating a sleek, toned body with regular practice and dedication.
Our Balham clinic and studio are designed to work together and practitioners often refer patients to Pilates classes to assist with their rehabilitation. We also offer Clinical Pilates if you wish to attend classes taught by a Physiotherapist.
Can Teens Attend Classes?
Please check with us before bringing a child under 16 years old and note that anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
