Fertility Acupuncture
- Our acupuncturist, Richard is a specialist in fertility acupuncture and has assisted hundreds of couples and women to conceive.
- Fertility acupuncture treatment is used to support natural conception and during IVF and other assisted conception programmes.
- Richard provides confidential support throughout these processes in addition to administering acupuncture treatment during the various stages to help enhance the individuals and couples’ ability to conceive.
What does fertility acupuncture include?
Richard will take a complete medical history to help put together an individual treatment plan based on your health. Acupuncture needles are inserted at points selected to treat the whole body as well as your symptoms, and you will be left to rest for a while before they are removed. Needles are single-use sterile and come in sealed packs. Acupuncture needles are so fine that most people don’t feel them being inserted. It is normal to feel a mild tingle or dull ache around the needle. Responses to treatment can sometimes include tiredness or mild dizziness and occasionally mild bruising can occur. All such reactions are short-lived, and in most cases you will feel calm and relaxed.
Your treatment will be tailored around your own fertility plan

Reproductive Reflexology
- Our reflexologist, Norah is a specialist in reproductive reflexologist and offers treatments to help support those struggling with fertility and conception in a holistic way.
- Reflexology is a holistic therapy that incorporates specific pressure techniques applied to the feet or hands to activate the body’s own healing power. By stimulating points on the feet and hands connected to more than 7000 nerve endings on the feet and hands, we can link up to all the organs, glands and tissues in the body, encouraging the opening and clearing of neural pathways to allow natural healing.
- Reflexology may help prepare your body for conception by ‘kick starting’ the body’s endocrine system, balancing hormones to help boost ovulation and to create the best body ecology for a viable pregnancy by bringing stress levels down.
What does reproductive reflexology include?
Norah supports couples on their fertility journey; offering reflexology as a relaxing time for you during this stressful time creating a healthier environment for your baby to grow, working together to balance blood sugar levels to help keep the rest of the body’s hormones maintained at the right level together with helping the body expel environmental toxins and synthetic hormones to increase the chances of conceiving.
Norah will tailor a course of treatments depending on whether your own cycles are regular with follow-up treatments at particular times of the month to stimulate ovulation.
Norah will also support individual women who may be struggling with emotional blocks that may be getting in the way of fertility such as fears around birth, recurrent miscarriage, grief around baby loss and those who are going through IVF and assisted conceptions.
