Ultrasound Guided Injections can help to provide pain relief, reduce inflammation or to stimulate the bodies natural healing process to aid rehabilitation and injury healing.
This specialist treatment is a minimally invasive injection of either a corticosteroid or sodium hyaluronate gel. Our specialist will be guided by ultrasound to accurately give the injection. Injection therapy for muscle, tendon and joint conditions is significantly more effective but also generally safer than taking anti-inflammation medication by mouth.
Alongside Guided Injections we provide Musculoskeletal Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans to aid in accurate diagnosis of many pathologies.
You do not need a prior medical referral for an appointment or to be in treatment at reCentre for an Ultrasound Guided Injection. If you are in current treatment at reCentre, please discuss this option with your practitioner.
To book call our reception team on 020 8672 4455 to book, all appointment lengths are 30 minutes. Appointments are available on Tuesday mornings in our Balham Clinic.
Our specialist will go through a full safety questionnaire prior to discussing what is best for your individual condition prior to any scan or injection.
All appointments include a full diagnostic report.
