Naturopathy takes a natural approach to healthcare – recognising nature’s innate power to heal and using what nature provides to ensure patients have what they need to heal themselves.
Each patient is treated as a whole, taking into consideration physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Naturopathy intends to uncover and treat the underlying cause of any symptoms and to assist patients back to health using nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy and supplementation.
Naturopathy is committed to do no harm and so no treatment will create other conditions.
A naturopath will also focus on preventing disease by removing toxic substances and situations from a pateient’s life and will empower patients to take responsibility for their own health by teaching self-care.
A free initial 15 minute consultation is available if required.

She said: “I cut out wheat, alcohol and caffeine – I felt dreadful after doing that for two or three weeks but then you start thinking about all the rubbish you have been putting into your body.
“I came out the other side with an amazing improvement in how I felt. I was given prescribed herbal preparations and also natural bacterial capsules which I needed to keep in the fridge…”
Sadie fell pregnant within a week of the first consultation.
Charlie, 52, a self-employed artist, had her first migraine in her early twenties. She said “They were affecting my life badly. I was having two or three attacks a month which might debilitate me for two or three days at a time. I had tried just about everything … Then somebody recommended Caroline.”
“I had a combination of treatments originally – I had acupuncture and herbal treatments and also looked at my diet. I had no wheat and dairy and that helped. It was the combination of treatments that worked and some lifestyle changes.”
Charlie still has acupuncture ‘top-ups’ every six weeks and takes herbs daily but now believes the attacks are behind her.
“Gradually over several months things seemed to improve. Now I don’t think about it. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a migraine.”
“Literally getting no sleep as Jed could not settle, there was a repetitive cycle of feeding, sickness and then crying. We went to Caroline and from our first appointment we had great support. She rang me at least once a day in between visits firstly to check on Jed and just as importantly to give us the moral support and strength we needed. We found Caroline was a godsend. We now never go to anybody else for anything.”
