The physiotherapist was exemplary in her care and attention to my problem and also gave very good advice on relevant exercises to do. So overall very happy and would highly recommend this practice.
Always the best place to go to when my back plays up! Was treated by Piotr who was extremely professional and after only one visit so far my back is a lot better!
You are treated more like a friend than a client which is a good start on your road to recovery, your whole experience is first class.

Clinical Pilates

We believe that in order to offer Clinical Pilates to our patients, sessions must be conducted on a 1:1 basis. This allows your physiotherapist or Pilates specialist to give you 100% of their attention until you reach the point of rehabilitation. By this time you have greater body awareness and understand the principles of Pilates and how they relate to your body.

When your therapist feels you are ready she may refer you to a group Pilates class which is suitable for your needs. Visit our Group Class Timetable here.

If you have never tried Pilates before or if you have any form of injury, Clinical Pilates taught by experienced practitioners trained in the Pilates method is your safest and most effective route into Pilates.

Our Clinical Pilates Teacher

Katie earned her degree in physiotherapy from Bradford in 1993. Since then she has worked in both the NHS and private practice – including Kings College Hospital and London Bridge Hospital.

During the 10 years that Katie worked at London Bridge she managed a large team of physiotherapists alongside continuing with a busy patient caseload. She worked closely with the orthopaedic and sports consultants seeing a great number of post-operative conditions (including ACL reconstructions and shoulder and back surgery), sports injuries, back and neck pain and ante-natal musculoskeletal problems.

Katie provides expertise in the treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries with an additional special interest in anti and post natal care (including diastasis of recti). She is also qualified to teach Pilates, which she often uses as part of her treatment regimes.

Physiotherapist, Women's Health Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Corinne is originally from Australia and graduated from James Cook University in Townsville in 2013. She has experience working in both a hospital and musculoskeletal private practice setting which has helped her to understand the treatment required at all stages of rehabilitation.

Since completing her degree Corinne has become a qualified Women's Health Physiotherapist and has more recently had experience working within the NHS specifically treating women with continence issues.

Corinne also has a special interest in pre- and post-natal physiotherapy and was part of the team which pioneered an in-hospital post-natal Women's Health Physiotherapy service in the private hospital situated in her hometown.

Corinne has also completed an advanced DMA Clinical Pilates course and has experience teaching small group classes as well as completing one-on-one sessions which can be highly beneficial when creating a tailored programme specific to the level and injury of the individual.

Corinne also has experience with 'hands on' physiotherapy such as massage and in addition is trained in dry needling. She is interested in treating acute and chronic lower back pain as well as post-operative, orthopaedic and surgical rehabilitation. Corinne is very thorough in her assessments and strives to ensure she provides the highest level of client care.
